Birafernandes: Your works are a precarious balance of the 'anti' in 'art' and the studied eye. They all seem to say something about the means by which the mark appear on the substrate, by that I mean that you seem to allow an internal self to determine how the brush physically apply the color. Without becoming to hung-up about a studied-eye approach to a painting. For this reason you are able to leave a residue of courage and honesty on the canvas. If either of these qualities are missing from a work, one may be assured that what they are looking at may be many things, but not 'Art'. I would consider your works expressionistic action paintings.
