About aryan:

Aryan Lavasani, Born 1977

Aryan Lavasani spent his childhood in some cities of Italy such as Rome, Como and Milan. During those years, his childish perception of the life appearances and modern world attractions led his mind to a better imagination of intangible facts. It also made him record some images which were originated from an undesired worldly wisdom but an innate one. In fact, it was a kind of wisdom which was exhibited to the public through bare realities and made him be alert about the inevitable future .The future which should arouse human objection “at the present time”.
He states, “There is a halo between my mind and fingers which makes my artworks. I really don’t realize what I am. There is something inside me which is perhaps me or maybe someone else.” “Whatever it is, it offends me; however, it moves me forward and stops me staying calm from inside, lest the neglect might keep me away.”
For the first time in 1986, Aryan participated in a group exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran to present three pieces of his artworks. Then at the age of twelve, his first individual exhibition with his thirty-six artworks which were drawn in marker pen on 30cm x 50cm cardboards on the subject of “What I interpret from the future” was held in Khane Aftab Gallery. In the summer of 1990, one of the professors of sociology of Aachen University invited him to Germany. During those three months of his residence, he created some artworks which were presented to the view of professors, critics and qualified masters of Aachen, Kassel and Hamburg and really made them all surprised. All the images he drew at that age and the following years indicated the existence of an aggressive process of modern technology and its domination on the moral principles and traditional nature of human being in near future.
Dr. Norbert Rivers, the editor in chief of a cultural political magazine and Dr. Christa Mar, the editor in chief of Pan Art magazine mentioned his name as a wonderful phenomenon, a genius. Furthermore, the professor of art history of Aachen Architecture University in one of the artists’ meeting expressed his idea, “I haven’t even imagined drawing such lines during seventy years of my life”. He added, “I really predict that the world of painting and future analysis on the generalities of such an art will be changed by this young boy and joined to the philosophy and science”. “For the time being, I feel I am in a dreamy world not in an art exhibition.”
After returning from Germany, Aryan held another exhibition in khane Aftab Gallery in 1990 where twenty-five of his artworks on 70x100cm and 60x80cm cardboards in marker pen on the same previous subjects were shown to all.
In 1994, he took part in a group exhibition in Japan and won the great award of “Space and Technology in Future”. Afterwards, he restarted to create some other works in the silence and solitude as he had done before. Therefore he could hold twenty-one individual exhibitions at some galleries in Tehran from 1986 to 2008.
He says, “I am still under the control of the halo which made me create such works. Now, it encourages me to the greater works and consequently toward some imaginations quite beyond my understanding.”“I try to mix the images of past, present and future together, color them in the other way to create another philosophy for human beings. I make my attempt to encourage the humans to find themselves out, realize their solitude and loneliness in this world of whole exaggeration and transformation in order to discover their own actual direction.”
Here is the name of some exhibitions he has held during these years;
