About artmarie:
I am a self-taught artist from the Transylvania region of Romania.
I started painting when I was ten, but interrupted exploring my passion due to financial problems. Now I am committed to expressing my talent and touching people's lifes through my paintings.
I see my work as expresing the beauty of life and of the Universe and I hope my art will help heal hearts and bodies.
Painting is for me an infinite universe of variables and sides in constant motion, universe that each and every time opens up before my eyes, stroke by stroke, modifying dimensions and emotions of things. It is a fantastic journey in a universe of endless possibilities, where everything becomes real under the curve of my brush. Everything happens unexpectedly in a carousel of light, shadow and color. I dream and the dream slowly starts to get shape and becomes reality.
I adore catching in my paintings the children’s gaze, their angelic and smiling faces; I like to immortalize the light on people’s faces.
