About ainhoart:
I am primarily a painter, because I feel that painting is the best means for me to portray my emotions. For me, being an artist is not solely taking part in the act of creation, but it is a way of life. I feel that being an artist does not necessarily mean that I must limit myself to one thing, or one kind of art. However, it is knowing how to see life through artistic eyes in order to bring out my own unique expression, even if it means in the way that I talk and act with people.
The main concern in each of my art works, are the movements of the soul. Spirituality is the driving force to all my art. Whichever technique I use, it is still a reflection of me, however drawing and painting is what allows me to breathe - where line seems to be the source of all life and imagination. The beauty of art is that it interlinks reality with fantasy and this is why in most cases I usually tear parts of the paper or the canvas in order for the painting to form part of what lies beneath it - Life itself.

Yes - through marriage though. By chance I attended a few classes when I was a Polytechnic. While my father was in his class I followed the lesson when I finished my drawing in the class next door. Little did I know that I would later marry his nephew. My dad also paints, his name is Albert Caruana. We will be having our first joint exhibition coming September.

Hello ainhoart I am happy to be a friend. I too have always felt that to limit myself to 'one thing' - that is one style or one subject matter is too limiting. I am an eclectic and proud of it. Galleries hate that because it means they cannot 'pigeon-hole' an artist who experiments and tries everything. Your faces are very moving, extremely expressive, keep up the good work
