About Yuri:
Just finished my first year in SVA (School of Visual Arts, in NY). Studying to become an illustrator. Was born in 1987, St Petersburg, Russia, moved to NY 8 years ago. Skilled with various media and artistic direction. Not very familiar with the financial side of the art world, but will gladly sell some of my work. I particularly like Hand vrs. Foot and Clarity, but most of what you've created is lovely. I particularly like some of the landscapes. Keep at it. My vague feeling is that "illustration" is more commercial than "fine art" but I'm not sure how else to catagorize them. I wish you well, however. and hope to see more. Chris

Dear Yuri, You have such talent! But even more than that I am struck by the strange sensitivity in your work. I find your "transformation" series to be exemplary drawing, and also devastatingly tender. I noticed the feet and hands already in "transformation", and then saw the specific studies. Your feet and hands are moving, poignant, tortured. Your work has great impact. I wish you much success and all good things.
