I am an artist with no training. It's a steep learning curve but looking at the beautiful creations of others inspire me to try new things and go outside of my comfort zone. My short term goal is to improve my ability to paint realistic pictures, especially portraits. I greatly enjoy and appreciate feedback on my work, especially constructive criticism. I'd like all the artists on this site to be my teachers and I'm very open to new ideas and techniques.
Since I'm recently graduated from undergrad and searching for a job, I have plenty of time to paint but not much income to buy all the supplies I'd like. If anyone has any advice on how to market their work, I'd be happy to hear it! I wish everyone luck and creative energy. Thank you all so much for bringing more beauty into the world with your works.

Hi Virginia... thank you for visiting and commenting on "Gobekli Tepe". I hope you visited the link that was posted with it... if not, here it is again. The discovery of large buildings that are several thousands of years older than the pyramids is fascinating. http://www.wimp.com/unexplainedstructure/ Loved your photos of Turkey.

Hi Virginia... you asked how I created the textures.... it is all done in Photoshop. If you are a Photoshop freak like I am, let me know and I can email you a couple of techniques. Welcome to Artbreak.
