to you yes but for the south of England it doesnt happen , the last time thi happened was 15 years ago . Ive spent winters in Switzerland im well aware its normal elsewhere . My photography is journalistic at times and thats the reason for the shot , a record of extreme events where they are not common . If you had one of our winters where the daffodils bloom sometimes at christmas it would be a rare event for you .

Hello I actually am answering a question you left on my site about your Tecino Painting from last month. Sorry I am so late I just saw it today. To your question, I know it is the Italian part of Switzerland. I have been nearby it, but never have had the chance to see it. It is beautiful place. Switzerland has so many fantastic places to see. I call myself lucky to have relatives in Switzerland. Thanks for your comment on my work.

Thankyou it is a colour study for a larger , well , much larger acrylic on canvas . im not sure which colours to use yet so im doing pastel quickies to see what works best .

Thankyou . I was there in August 2006 i think , and may 2008 . Ive had all types of weather , from plus 30 to minus 3 overnight , its why i love it so much , i can get almost sunburnes one day , build a snowman the next , always fascinating , i cant wait to get back.
