About ThiemannPortraits:
A portfolio of work, produced by me, Isabelle Thiemann
I attended The London College of Fashion for my Foundation Diploma year and am currently at the University For The Creative Arts, Canterbury, England studying BA Fine Art.
My work and style isn’t necessarily realistic but occasionally I like to use illustration to present my ideas. My aim is to create interesting and expressive concepts to create art pieces and to talk about the concept behind the imagery and the thought process that has gone into the work. I find it interesting to investigate subject matter whether it be about people, psychology or the media.
Artists who inspire me are Francis Bacon, Egon Schiele,Tracey Emin, Jenny Saville, Sarah Maple, Vincent Van Gough and many more.
