I am enjoying your skillful work very much. I started with charcoal as well (decades ago :-) but I was not carefully enough. All my works were to smudgy. Then I switched over to do almost the same thing but with acrylics. And it worked. So, basically I'm still drawing, but with brush and acrylics.

About Starward:

I'm an artist living in the great Northwestern United States enjoying every moment that something beautiful shows itself to me.

I mostly work with charcoal, but I am beginning to work with sculpting in clay, as well as adding some color to my charcoal work. Working with charcoal comes natural to me, but I do wish to challenge myself a bit more so I will also be trying to paint with oils as soon as I get the time.
