So I'm gonna be a sophomore this year at CCAD [columbus college of art & design.] in Ohio.
I am stronger in the fields of graphic design and photography as opposed to drawing and painting.
I come from this little ass town in Connecticut, that half the time isn't on the map- but that's okay, cuz we're too rad to be on a map anyway.
I live for watching thunderstorms at night with my best friend, picnics on abandoned bridges and side walks, conversations at 3 am, laughing so hard it makes me puke, meteor showers reflecting on my lake, hummus, the left right game, bringing my camera everywhere, the smell of turpentine, the fact game, secrets, oranges, dressing up with no where to go, the wall side of the bed, fresh fruit, green tea = my life.
I'd love constructive criticism so I can make my art better. [:

Here's some advice to a student... if you aren't impressed with the art of your teacher/professor/mentor, get another teacher! A student is always a reflection (somewhat) of whom they've learned under. My wife's art improved 1000 percent when she finally found the right teacher for her. It's only natural. I know you didn't ask for this but I felt like passing it your way for some reason. Keep up the good work!!!

Life ridiculous? absolutely...so many hoops to jump through...it would be quite a thing to just stop caring, at least let the little things go and let the chips fall where they may...a world of unaccountability would be something wouldnt it? haha...well I hope its not too serious kid, and im sure ull kick it soon enough...my weekend is alright, got some friends comin into town tonight and a night of unaccountability will have to do for this guy, although im sure it wont be that exciting...enjoy the rest of the weekend kiddo...chin up!

I wasn't telling you, just makin sure haha...I love portraits...probably my favorite thing to draw...that and naked people of course :)...I'm sure being at an actual art school your curriculm is structured differently than mine was...sometimes I wondered if art school wouldve been a better path, but I wouldn't trade the university days for anything...have an awesome weekend...lady...face?

No need to apologize for ramblin kid...it was a little tough to get through but I managed (just kidding...prob not that funny)...I had a similar conflict of my own in school between g.d. and drawing but I stuck with g.d. cause I thought itd b nicer on my wallet...now I have no job and am rallyin like crazy to find one...irony you son of a bitch haha...I think one thing I will not miss from bein an art major was all the studio classes with the still lifes of boxes and fake fruit...didn't dig that a whole lot...and it didnt stop after fresh and sophmore year...i envy you kiddo...freshman year huh?...live it up, im sure you are...anyway looks like I'm ramblin a bit now, keep workin on those ribcages...talk to you soon Erin...

I like your ribcage drawing...I think you created a lot of depth and seeing just a ribcage seperate from the rest of the skeleton lends it a lot of importance...and y not? its where the heart is...great stuff. Good luck in school kid....i just graduated with a BFA in graphic design...hard work but a lotta fun

You can't bother somebody if they enjoy the company. Right? Of course. You're a positive person and I really dig that. It's infectious and I almost just did a one handed cartwheel right now to express my point. lol. I'm kidding. Well have a killer semester at school and take care. :) J

I do enjoy free hugs. lol. I changed it, so it's better now. I guess what I should have said was, I'd like to be as excited and happy with life as you are again. I'm getting there. However, I do enjoy oranges, green tea and thunderstorms at night. Take care. J

I am having a rad day, thank you. It's not the raddest but it'll do. I appreciate your kindness. You seem like a real genuine and friendly person. I liked reading your profile because I dig a lot of the things you like too. I'm not as miserable as I once was, so perhaps I should change that. Well have a great year and take care. J
