About StClair:
Hello! I had to rewrite this profile, my last one was full of crap! I mean when I read the "art is my passion" part that I wrote I realized NOOOOO! I do love painting, but I'm not a great artist. What I am is creative, I make up most of my work in my head, no pictures, no real fruit or flowers, I cannot recreate nature's perfect rose, but I can create MY perfect rose! If I can satisfy myself then I win.
My favorite pieces of work from other artist's can be realism, abstract, expressionism, etc. I love black & white portraits/drawings, I think color can sometimes distract from features. I love ethereal, moody, sometimes dark pieces, the ones that make me think or dream.
I am not a competitive person, probably due to lack of confidence! I can truly enjoy the beautiful, and far superior, works of other, gifted artists & feel their joy in the ability to do that kind of work.
So, other than the fact that I do hope to sell a few pieces (not for positive feedback but because I'm poor), I will enjoy this site, the people and the art and I hope I can bring something to the show, too!
