WORK STYLE:
In my work I try to work with a craftsmanship discipline and remain fresh with various techniques. One of my favorite themes are political freedom and history.

COLLEGE:
In college I painted t-shirts about the LA Riots and learned abstract techniques under Tom Thomas right in class.

EUROPE:
In 1989, I saw the Berlin Wall fall behind the Iron Curtain in Poland. I saw old men weep over terrible socialist realist “gift” statues hammered away. Additionally, we got to be millionaires with the massively inflated communist currency. Studying abroad in Poland I was exposed to on the anti-communist, anti-fascist painting and theatre posters. Off to Spain to study Spanish in 1993-94, where I studied Spanish masters 1 year in the Prado Museum along with Spanish Islamic architecture also studied by M.C. Escher.
