My journey down this road began when I signed up for a class to make watch bands. I had never worked with beads before but loved the bright colors and shiny jewels. That class was all it took. I had found something I was passionate about. I started making jewelry at first to give as gifts to friends. Then my friends started ordering pieces to give as gifts to their friends. By that time I knew I needed to get serious and learn all I could about beading and design. I took classes with the best beaders I could find and purchased color charts to familiarize myself with basic design skills, all the while keeping up with current trends in fashion magazines. Today I keep myself busy making jewelry for all ages and occasions. I use swarovski crystals, pearls, natural stones and sterling silver in most of my designs. While learning my craft, I have also become skilled at hand wrapping silver and making many of the clasps I use in my work.
