About Orb486:

split time between NY/CA/Espana (Sevilla,Barcelona)
primarily a writer, but I picked up a camera at age 10 and never stopped creating images. created a photo dept from scratch in high school, incl lobbying the school admin to let us build a darkroom in the boy's bathroom in the English building, enlargers over the urinals, "acquired" lumber at night from construction sites, harried and convinced photo stores & photo studios to donate and support equipment, chemicals, supplies, and money; persuaded & coerced professional photographers to teach and tutor, put together art shows in local malls enlisting local retired people to contribute brush art, sold extensively; fair amount of experimentation in high school with color film processing, incl color solarization ektachrome, kodachrome and c4 manipulation; cameras back then asahi pentax 35mm, Technika Press View 3 1/4X 2 3/4mm roll back and plate back, Linhof 4x5 with Zeiss lenses, Deardorf 8x10 with cherrywood frame. motto: if you can view it, do it; you won't be alone for long. The life of the mind is a terrible thing to leave fallow. "I'd rather have nothin' than settle for less."--Lyle Rogers able to mix metaphors in a single bound. "don't back date it, life's what you make it." --TalkTalk " I love it when a plan comes together." --Hannibal Smith "what you spend years building, someone can tear down in a day. Build anyway." --Mother T (Teresa)
English professor, television producer, writer, photographer, videographer, swimmer, biker, basketball player, last but far from least dad.
Our images are like our children, conceived and created in wonder and passion, guided and directed with love, and sent into the world to find relationship with others. We move on, but it's always good to see them again!
