Lo Rebecca Ling Kit (born in 1982, Hong Kong) is a self-taught artist. Influenced by his father, Lo Chi Keung, who has studied Chinese brush painting under renowned artists Prof. Chao Shao An and Mr. Kan Mei Tin, she showed a natural aptitude in drawing and painting since a very young age. She is an admirer of natural beauty, from the external beauty to the exquisite designs that lie within every living organism, and is especially attracted to animals and flowers. To capture the essence of nature, she prefers working with graphic pencils, colour pencils, watercolour and recently with Chinese brush painting in realistic style.

In 2009, overwhelmed by the exhibition “Strolling in the Fragrant Garden: Paintings of Ju Chao and Ju Lian”, she started practicing Chinese brush painting under the supervision of her father. Later that year, she terminated her career in biomedical science and reinvented herself as a painter. She is a member of Today’s Chinese Art Association.
