About LeoOlivarez:
self taught artist since started back in 1986 drawing little army skulls with knives through them evolving to caricatures and cartoons and eventually doing graffitti. after so many years of wasting paint just to watch it get covered up i eventually stopped painting for fun but not until i found my next endeavor, tattooing.
i started tattooing in 1997 as an apprentice in a local mom and pop studio. teaching me basics and tattoo ediquate how to deal with certain clients etc.
eventually moving on to spread my wings a little bit further i started exploring the craft trying to break new ground and push my boundaries. its been 13 since i started tattooing and seeking a new thrill i picked up brushes about 3 years ago and have been trying to balance them ever since.
still learning with paint i find each one is a new experience with different approaches everytime, trying to figure out what works best.
