About KaleoArt:
Native Hawaiian Artist, Kaleo, living and painting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed art and creating it.
For the past 35 years I have worked in the applied arts, as an art director, designer, illustrator and photographer. I have been in the advertising and design industry putting my talent to work for advertising agencies and private businesses from New York to Philadelphia. I have worked with some the countries top talent to create powerful images.
I have subsequently shifted my focus from the applied arts to fine arts and work primarily with oil on canvas. My focus is on scenes of Hawai'i where I was born, raised and retain a special love for the land and the people of the island state. My goal is to capture the natural beauty as I see and share that imagery with the viewer.
