Of all the "Figure in Ground" theories out there the one we all want to see work out reveals clean boundaries and free spaces in which our kind move and act. About JuanRomagosa:

My love of the Arts is sustained by the sculptural forms of Architecture and nurtured by a passion for painting. I enjoy playing with oils in styles ranging from the symbolic, such as Romantic and Magic Realism, to Contemporary Realism with an edge. My predilection is Figurative allegory in thought provoking settings that evoke a sense of Classicism. I am represented by the Vacaville Art Gallery and the Arts Benicia Gallery and have been shown at various galleries in California. I am Vice President of the Fairfield Visual Arts Association and my paintings are collected in the US, Mexico, and Denmark. I am fascinated by the magic of the human figure and awed by the wonders of nature. I love illustrating the interplay of mankind and nature in my paintings, reconciling humanity to the environment, while exploring interpersonal relationships.

Currently three works - Lupo et Felicia Reve, Convent Dream, and Airborne - were selected by the 32nd Anual Juried Art Show at the Vacaville Art Gallery and will be shown until May 20. Opening Reception will be held May 2nd from 7-9 pm. Be there!
