Dear friends, acquaintances and respected professionals:
Well I've all survived another day in this hive called New York City!
Hallelujah, hallelujah!
As you may already know, I'm exhibiting about 40 recent paintings varying in size. Over 35 oils and a few gouaches. Installing the work has been so time consuming. You may have noticed the invitation.
This would be a very good opportunity to see my work in an exhibition space- ideal even.... if you had a few minutes to stop by the opening reception.
It might be a great opportunity to network! Actually - we've invited a great crowd of diverse and interesting New Yorkers. I keep telling people between 35 and 3500 people are expected...Lizzy Grubman has done the "PR". Maybe some celebrities...other than myself of course (Ha ha). The real point is -- it should be interesting and whatever happens at least you'll have a bit of fun. There will be some great food with interesting exotic beverages, Saki infused Chai tea served over crushed ginger and ice---yummy! So, if that isn't enticing enough...As I may have said: my work as an artist is deeply spiritual and humanistic. And I'm sincere. I promise you'll find this event interesting especially seeing the work in such a great, large open and well lit space! And so much of it. It's really almost like a retrospective.
When you see the work you can decide for yourself if I've succeeded in creating effective spiritual art work. I promise you'll, at least, get some joy viewing it.
I hope you can make an appearance...The gallery is almost directly next door to Alvin Ailey's brand new theatre and School. The one that Citibank built...

Scott! Have a wonderful opening ! I read carefully, what you wrote about your exhibition, and I can imagine how much work is to install 40 paintings - in my small city I stopped to do this because too much work and a little sale:). Right now I do PR for my daughter piano recital so I'll tell you - it's a JOB. It's a pity I can't come. Delaware is 3 hours driving, and, plus, I have to be in NYC tomorrow...

Incredible coulors. Coulors as space and body. Haelt spielend de Vergleich mit Mark Rothko stand. I like this work very much.
