About GypsyPainter:

Sandy DeLuca is has been a painter for over twenty years. She is also the author of five novels: SETTLING IN NAZARETH, DESCENT, MANHATTAN GRIMOIRE, FROM ASHES & REQUIEM FOR THE DEAD.

She penned the CHANT FOR INNER STRENGTH & the HERBAL INVOCATION/SPELL, under the pseudonym, Autumn Raindancer, for Raven Silverwolf's famous and important book, TO STIR A MAGICK CAULDRON

She was a finalist for the BRAM STOKER FOR POETRY award for the year 2000: BURIAL PLOT IN SAGITTARIUS.

Sandy raised a young son, put herself through college and experimented with various forms of expression through the years. She did all this while still holding down a day job in order to pay bills and to make sure health insurance was available. She became ill with cancer in 2007 and beat the disease. She completed FROM ASHES and REQUIEM FOR THE DEAD (both novels) in 2007 and 2008. Today she continues to paint and write. Recently she took inventory of over two decades of creative output. Sadly, finding time to market her work has been scarce. Time had been an issue and still is. However, she's vowed to be more vocal about her work and to make efforts to get it into the world. There are paintings, drawings, poems and stories waiting to be discovered. There are novels and novellas in various stages of completion as well. Over the next few years she hopes more people will become familiar with both her visual and written work.

Lately Sandy has also discovered digital art and sometimes creates small digital pieces in between her large scale paintings.
