About Djuneid:

Born in Mauritius in 1983, Djuneid grew up there, in Kenya, England, Italy, France and the United States. He started to paint in his last year of high school and attended the Massachusetts College of Art, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (both in Boston, USA) and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris.
He has exhibited internationally and recently completed his Masters in Art in Education at Harvard University.
Djuneid's body of work deals with the body, both in form and formless. Through symbolic interpretations of materials that are manipulated in a surrealist manner, he has created visuals that encompass a wide range of sensibilities, truths, lies and spectrums. Life is art, as living is an intrinsic process to give birth to material interpretations. This symbiosis is always the core feeling of his anthology.
