About Bernard Rangel:
Bernard Rangel has a diverse cultural origin and this is clearly seen in his original and unique work. He is a self-taught artist and has been painting for more than 35 years. Since 2004 he has shared his love of painting by organising and participating in paint workshops for underprivileged children from Brazil and India.
He started by painting backdrops for the Amateur Hong Kong Ballet group and has since then painted household and commercial interiors, ceramics, bed linen, jeans, paper and on canvas. He works with acrylic, Indian ink and oil paint and plays with a wide variety of colours. It is particularly his backgrounds which capture the attention of art lovers, the public, other artists and critics. He enjoys painting live with an audience that participates.
He has exhibited in Dublin, Sao Paulo, Bahia, Rome, Hannover, London, Washington, Miami, Mumbai and New Delhi and his works are in the hands of private collectors and charitable institutions throughout the world. Bernard’s work is available on the internet and on YouTube. But now he invites you to see his work up close and meet him when you are in London.

hello Bernard,,thank you so much for the feedback,,it is much apprecieated..and thank you for being my friend...yes I do have these three styles going on & seem compelled to give them all attention.. I have been thinking about wall paper but am not sure how to get my designs right..I have not put much thought into carpets but I do love them..I would probably have to learn more about textiles, witch I do find interesting .. I LOVE your work and have some drawings that are similar in feeling...maybe I will have to post them so you can see them..enjoy Jedda

A lot of rather wonderful works here - well worth further exploration. Reminds me often of what would be seen through a microscope - amoebas, bacteria, protozoa - yet formed into very 'Human' combinations. Thanks for sending me a friends request.
