About Artistmitch:
I was born in Staffordshire, UK in 1974. I was always an observant child and expressed a great hunger and desire to learn.
At school I particularly enjoyed drama and art, the latter I wanted to explore and develop during my years at school and college. After this, I decided I wanted to make this my career.
My work encapsulates a passion for experimenting with media, by taking fairly traditional and ordinary subjects, such as urban/rural landscapes and creating a vibrant or even dreamy surrealism.
I regularly exhibit paintings locally in Herne Bay, Whitstable, Folkestone and Deal. As well as landscapes, I produce murals and book illustration and my aim is to make art affordable and accessible.
I throroughly love what I do, and I hope this comes across in my work!
