Hello to all artists and art appreciators!! My name is Ani Aslanian, I currently reside in CA and attend college with an emphasis on psychology, art and emotional expression. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to be able to combine the two things I love together - the human mind, and art.
Growing up in artist's family, I've had a passion for drawing since a young age and followed it into my adult years. Some might better know my uncle's work, Rafael Aslanian, who has become a popular artist amongst Russian society. I have also had the pleasure of partaking in numerous exhibitions in Pasadena, CA associated with the Armenian Allied Arts Association. Some of my works are on display at Saint Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church of Arizona.
My inspiration for my paintings range from pure vision, to everyday civilians, to my Armenian culture. Some of my favorite artists include Ayvazovskiy, Michelangelo, Monet, Leonardo DaVinci, and Renior, just to name a few. More recently I have ventured out into the fields of photography, which I am also enjoying! It is beyond thrilling to share a little bit of my world and vision with everyone else, and see the vast number of talented individuals in the world. I speak fluently in English, Armenian, Russian, Italian and Georgian...let's communicate my fellow artists! :)
More to come, I appreciate the love and support!!!
