M.J did not study art formally. Art, however, has been his first passion from a very early age, and he continued to practice painting, graphic design and calligraphy for the last four decades. He studied economics and went to become a full professor of resource economics at the University of Massachusetts. He has had six solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in the past. He has designed and illustrated numerous magazines and newspapers, books, logos, posters and calendars. He was a three-time winner in national contests to design postal stamps.

Beautiful work! It is so sensual - and I love your drawings showing male/female interaction. So often, in art, female sexuality is shown in isolation. I love 'Tenderness' and I love the colour and dynamism of your paintings.

Thankyou MJ , this was all today after a raincloud passed , we had a rainbow and then the sun hit my garden so i grabbed my camera , it was magical out there and i love the smell , so captivating. Next year i will buy the most heavily scented larget bloomed tea rose i can find , and love it to bits. :-) xx

I only just found that comment by you about "sometimes its too easy" where you asked if i used photo shop or enhanced the landscape , no I didnt ! It truly is like that there and if i had swept the lense left or right , there was more. It is s stunning place , and i can see the beauty but if i had caught it in fresh snowfall and misty hazy clouds , then it would have excited me no end , as it was I enjoyed and basked in the beauty . This i like very much but those special weather conditions , those WOW moments are what i hunt for. I am a hunter really :-)
