About Alexey Yarygin’s Art

Task of my art: To show, that through the art – painting - we could perceive another reality of the world we live, that creativity is one of the ways of Pray, kind of talking with God.
Alexey Yarygin

“Art is the window through which the magic of everyday life is discovered – bringing enrichment and offering mystery…”

Alexey Yarygin

“…Despite this variety, one of Yarygin’s firmest convictions regarding this work is to promote an essential presence of harmony and oneness, even in the midst of immense diversity and seemingly opposing or contradictory forces in nature. Although the untrained observer can perceive his sense of balance with both color and subject matter, there is another demonstration of balance in his work of a more universal nature, an ultimate singleness that Yarygin consciously witnesses in everything, and consequently feels obligated to reveal in all of his work.
These aspects of singleness or oneness are reflected by Yarygin’s representations of great motion and energy uniting air, water, light, and all other substances. He takes stationary objects and makes them appear to swirl in unifying and balancing patterns of movement. He perceives the joining and integrating aspects of ch’i, the force of which ancient Chinese philosophers speak, that binds, balances, and unifies all facets of life.”

Ian Macfarlane, composer, philosopher-mystic.
