Nina Gabriel – My Bio

I am an artist working from my home-based studio in Tarzana, California, USA.
I have my own company called Nina Gabriel Refinement & Style.
For many years I worked at several major corporations here in California and in Canada.
Several years ago, I decided to establish my own company and studio where I could create art and follow my dreams.
Along with my working career, I always kept studying, majoring in Psychology, and currently doing my Masters degree in Natural Healing, Naturopathy.
My interests include Music, Art, Poetry, Design, Philosophy, Numerology, Astrology, Esoteric Astrology, Mythology, Metaphysics, Chinese calligraphy, Kabbalah through The Tree of Life, and many natural therapies such as Aromatherapy, Healing- Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Yoga and many more.
I felt connected to nature and its boundless beauty since my childhood. The process of making a thing of beauty through connection with my inner self is the greatest meditation and a gift that I appreciate very much. The ideas and possibilities are endless. Life and nature offer me inspiration and feelings that provide basis for many of my works.
My art represents many philosophies, combining my deep interest in different cultures, beliefs, art, design, music and many other forms of expression.
To produce art is the most satisfying experience for me and the results of my work I would like to share with as many people as possible thus spreading my spirit and message far and wide. My art has contributed enormously to my own spiritual growth, at the same time testing my patience, persistence and will.
It is my sincere wish that my art brings peace, happiness and joy to anyone that appreciates it. I also hope that it will bring forth many positive feelings such as love, faith, hope, confidence and truly all the good that art has to offer.
P.S. By all means I never claim to have grown fully spiritually nor have I arrived to a place of total bliss. Especially when life has presented the most difficult challenges in my life, such as loosing my brother and my parents within 11 months this year. When I tried exceptionally hard to find my center and faith.
The Bliss that I experience is only when I create art, write poetry or assist with healing and do charitable works, and as far as my spiritual journey it is a Journey not a destination.
I have a dream and purpose in life to make a difference in children’s life's, making their dreams come true and to be able to create happiness and joy in their life's, to provide for less fortunate for their education and healing. I dedicate my work to this purpose in the loving memory of my brother Grant.





In 2005 I participated in the Fifth International Biennale of Contemporary Art Exhibit, which took place in Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy in December/2005- www.florencebiennale.org

Collage/Assemblage “Music of my Soul” along with my short Bio is printed in International Biennale of Contemporary Art 2005 catalog. I also received a diploma from the City of Florence for participation in Biennale exhibit.

In November 2005 two of my collages ” Destiny” and “Beauty” were exhibited at 2nd International Collage Exhibition in Vilnius, Lithuania www.arts.it
November/2005, with “Destiny” printed in the catalog pertaining to the exhibit.

I also have been awarded with Editor’s Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry, by International Library of Poetry, where one of my poems “Soul Flames” is published in the Yearly book of Poetry/2005 – Surrender to the Moon” and recorded onto Creative Poetic Expressions Soundtrack of Poetry with music.

In 2005 became A Founding Laureate Member of International Society of Poets.

After completing my training in Reiki, I was awarded a Certificate for Reiki Master in November 2005.

In August 2006 I became a member of World Poets Society – A Literary Organization for Contemporary Poets from all around the World. (W.P.S.)

This year (2006) I was nominated and became a member of “Who’s Who Art Club International” where I was granted two pages which present my Bio and two artwork illustrations and review with appraisals of three of my artworks: Treasures of the Sea, Music of My Soul and Metamorphosis # 2. The Catalog issued in November 2006 for the year 2007. Signature as an accredited artist is deposited in International signatures bank in Switzerland.


In 2006 a selection of my artworks were exhibited at the following Exhibitions and Galleries/Selected artworks will be printed in pertaining catalogs of each exhibition.

In February 2006 Svenska Konstgalleriet, in Stockholm, Sweden, will exhibit six of my collages.
